I keep coming back to Jara, and every visit feels better than the last. You can truly see how much love and thought they put into the place, they keep improving, adding new details, and creating experiences that make your stay more comfortable, fun, and memorable. The food is amazing. I especially loved the jollof and coconut rice, and the cocktails are absolutely delicious 🍹 Yesterday’s beach party was something special. It was their first one, with Made Kuti, and the energy was unreal — everyone was vibing in unison. Pure joy, great music, and an atmosphere that stays with you long after the night ends. What really stood out to me is how thoughtful the team is: they even organized a comfortable bus transfer, which made everything easy and stress-free. This is truly a place you want to come back to again and again.

Jara is the most family friendly resort in Nigeria. I've been going to Jara every year since 2020. In March 2025, we took our most recent visit and every time we go, we're impressed by the friendliness and attentiveness of staff, the facilities which continue to evolve with welcomed new additions such as the new rooftop, the tastiness of meals, and well maintained beach front. My four year old daughter regularly asks when we are going back to Jara, and this is despite having pleasant experiences of resorts abroad, she still fondly recalls Jara. Thank you, Jara for being a family staple at this point. It is small resort, but if you utilise all of the lovely features available: campfire, the games room, the view points etc, or simply take a walk on beach and make memories, it will be an unforgettable experience and much-needed oasis in Lagos.
